Sinopsis

La investigación como actividad pretende generar nuevo conocimiento para explicar, comprender y transformar a la sociedad. Hoy en día los mecanismos y recursos con los que contamos para buscar, referenciar y redactar un trabajo de divulgación científica ha ido atravesando cambios con la integración de nuevas tecnologías de acceso libre o comercial y, especialmente, con el uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA).

Conocer estos procedimientos y herramientas es esencial para alcanzar los resultados esperados por los investigadores en el desarrollo de sus manuscritos. Así, por ejemplo, sucede con los gestores de referencia, el uso de buscadores con configuraciones avanzadas en las bases de datos científicas, las herramientas de generación de imágenes, etc. El desarrollo de un manuscrito requiere rigurosidad en su redacción, lenguaje claro, preciso, así como el respeto a determinados formatos, según el destino de la publicación.

Y, previo a ello, elegir la revista o evento científico al que se va a dirigir nuestro trabajo es una decisión estratégica que se debe tomar en función de diferentes criterios. Este contenido, a modo de guía y consejos prácticos, así como recomendaciones de herramientas tecnológicas útiles y accesibles es lo que el lector encontrará en este libro.

La investigación como actividad pretende generar nuevo conocimiento para explicar, comprender y transformar a la sociedad. Hoy en día los mecanismos y recursos con los que contamos para buscar, referenciar y redactar un trabajo de divulgación científica ha ido atravesando cambios con la integración de nuevas tecnologías de acceso libre o comercial y, especialmente, con el uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA). Conocer estos procedimientos y herramientas es esencial para alcanzar los resultados esperados por los investigadores en el desarrollo de sus manuscritos. Así, por ejemplo, sucede con los gestores de referencia, el uso de buscadores con configuraciones avanzadas en las bases de datos científicas, las herramientas de generación de imágenes, etc. El desarrollo de un manuscrito requiere rigurosidad en su redacción, lenguaje claro, preciso, así como el respeto a determinados formatos, según el destino de la publicación. Y, previo a ello, elegir la revista o evento científico al que se va a dirigir nuestro trabajo es una decisión estratégica que se debe tomar en función de diferentes criterios. Este contenido, a modo de guía y consejos prácticos, así como recomendaciones de herramientas tecnológicas útiles y accesibles es lo que el lector encontrará en este libro.
